About

Jennifer Rosenblum

This is me on a week-long trek in the Himalayas in 2017. Though I look happy here, I wasn’t nearly this thrilled when the altitude sickness hit hard the following day. It just goes to show that, when things get a little rough, remember to look around. It may just be a side effect of working hard to get to the top.

Why hello there!

Fancy meeting you here. It appears as if you’re interested in learning more about me. Welp, I’m already starting to blush so let’s just dive in!

I’m a creative professional and communication generalist. My specialties include social media management and strategy, creative marketing campaigns, and public relations. I also create content, coordinate community relations, do brand storytelling and provide thought leadership.

I have done both agency and in-house work over the years across varying industries, including: specialty foods, craft beer, hospitality, wellness technology, real estate, fintech, event planning and more.

In my free time, I am an industry nerd when it comes to trends in creative marketing, advertising and social media. Exploring the outdoors, cooking up a new international dish and playing hide-and-seek with my dog are a few of my favorite ways to spend a weekend here in Vermont.

A little more about me…

Woah… you’re still here? I’m flattered! What would you like to know? I might as well cover some basics while you’re here! Of course, if you want to learn even more about me, give me a shout.

Where are you from? I’ve lived up and down the east coast throughout my life. From New York to Georgia, Kentucky to Vermont, I never seemed to stay in one place. Before I moved to Burlington, VT (where I live now), I resided in PA as an undergraduate student at The University of Pittsburgh. I graduated from Pitt in 2018 with a BA in Communication & Rhetoric, a BA in Sociology, and a Certificate in Corporate & Community Relations.

What is next for you? My dream is to be a brand manager for a socially responsible company that values respect, creativity and collaboration in its employees. I not only want to represent and build upon the brand’s voice, but I also wish to learn, grow and lead alongside a talented team of passionate individuals.

Tell me more about your dream company. Food and beverage, CPG, hospitality, health and wellness, and fashion are the industries that resonate the most with me. My dream company would either be a inspirational brand within one of these industries or an agency that serves them. However, I’ve worked within a wide variety of industries and the strong, proven values of a company are most important to me.

What do you bring to the table? Besides an excellent home-cooked meal with the perfect amount of spice? In the past, I have had the opportunity to become a well-rounded creative communicator by working in a plethora of roles and industries. I am adaptable and a quick learner (as one needs to be in a fast-paced occupation with so many overlapping fields of expertise). I pick up new software in a snap. I think on my toes with my head on a swivel (maybe because I’ve played basketball since the day I could walk). I am a leader and innately perceptive team player (maybe also as a result of the basketball thing, who knows?). I am detail-oriented, result-driven and open-minded. I am observant, approachable and compassionate. Overall, I bring energy, wit and balance to the table.

What are you most passionate about? I am also obsessed with all things food. Cooking, traveling to new cities and restaurants, and hosting potlucks with friends are some of my favorite weekend activities. I also travel often in search of new perspectives on life and for creative inspiration.
